Troubleshooting

Sims going to spam?

Seeing zero opens on your simulation? Nine times out of ten, the emails got filtered before they reached anyone β€” not a platform issue.

Why this happens

Phishing simulations are built to look like real attacks. Your email security is doing exactly what it should β€” intercepting them. Until you tell your mail system that Chinron's domains and IP are trusted senders, every simulation goes straight to spam or gets blocked silently.

The result: your campaign shows sent, but open rates are zero. It's not the platform β€” the emails never reached inboxes.

The fix β€” two minutes per provider

Find your email system below and follow the guide. You're adding Chinron's two sending domains and sending IP to your safe-sender list:

Find the exact values in your Chinron account under Settings β†’ Deliverability. Always use the values listed there β€” they may be updated as sending infrastructure changes.

After you've set it up

Run a fresh test campaign to yourself. If it lands in your inbox, you're good to launch to the team. Allow the propagation time for your provider before testing:

  • Microsoft 365 β€” up to 30 minutes
  • Google Workspace β€” up to 1 hour
  • Zoho Mail β€” near-immediate
